First we would like to say how blessed we are by adding Salty to our farm. He is a unique horse that has everything we have looked for in a stallion.

Salty was born on the Broken Bones Cattle Co., Ranch in Lander Wyoming. He is an own son of Hancocks Blue Boy. Salty has 132 offspring as of 2007 of which all are roans. Salty will only produce Blue Roans, unless bred to a mare that has a modifying gene (bay, dun, dilute etc...). He has been tested and is homozygous for the Black Gene and carries no Agouti (Bay gene). He is 39% Blue Valentine and 16.9% Joe Hancock with 98% NFQH. He has a great conformation, bone and muscle and reproduces it in his foals that have sound minds and athletic ability. Most all our mares are bred to Salty, see Mares i & ii pages, inquire with us in the early spring to get your choice of roan foal.

Cody is our true blue roan stallion standing to the public for live cover only. He carries 19% Blue Valentine and 9% Joe Hancock with 93% NFQH. He has not been professionally trained, but is in training here on our farm by us. Cody is used to sort and round up cattle. He is very cowy and likes to work. He is an outstanding blue roan stallion with both sire and dam as blue, shows strong athletic ability with quickness and speed, trainable mind, heavy bone and muscle.
